Hi I'm Monique, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who has a Masters Degree in Social Work from Loyola University Chicago. I also holds a Bachelors of Science in Psychology, and a Bachelors of Business Administration with an emphasis in Finance. I am licensed to provide therapy interventions for a variety of concerns including general mental health, alcohol and drugs, and trauma.
I have provided therapy in several settings including mental health drop-in centers, community based residential facilities , VA residential PTSD program, VA hospital medical, inpatient psychiatric care, and outpatient counseling for the past 10 years. I have additional evidenced based training in Solution Focused Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and Eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR).
