Great to meet you!

My love for children and people is what led to me pursuing a career in counseling. I have worked as a Teacher, Foster parent, CPS Investigator, and Special Education Counselor. That work was heart work and it eventually led me to becoming a LPC. Through my journey, I learned many strategies and techniques on how to deal with people of all ages in different facets of life. I have experience with Mental Health, Behavior, ADHD, Depression, Anxiety, PTSD, Adjustment Disorder, stress and Trauma.

My approach to therapy

I believe that counseling can work for anyone that works it. If you show up, participate, and put in the work, then you will see a change and be able to accomplish realistic goals. I approach each session Solution focused with empathy and a genuine demeanor.

What you can expect from me

My goal is to guide others in developing core strategies that will help them make sound decisions and strategies to move forward in life and to aid them in reconnecting with the inner strength and resilience that has been lying dormant.
