Great to meet you!

You may be successful, responsible, and accustomed to handling things on your own—but that doesn't mean life always feels the way you want it to. Anxiety, relationship challenges, major life transitions, unhealthy patterns, or simply feeling stuck can leave you questioning what comes next. I work with adults who are ready to better understand themselves, make intentional changes, and create healthier relationships with themselves and others. Therapy isn't just about what's wrong; it's also about discovering what you want and building the tools to move toward it.

My approach to therapy

I'm Lakeysha Ward, LPC-S, and I've worked in the counseling field since 2004. I bring more than 20 years of clinical experience working with adults through life's difficult seasons and transitions. Whether you're ready to regain control, strengthen relationships, establish boundaries, or determine what you want next, I'm here to help you do the work.

My approach is conversational, direct, supportive, and practical. Together, we'll identify patterns that may be keeping you stuck and develop realistic strategies for change. I use cognitive and behavioral approaches while recognizing that therapy isn't one-size-fits-all. Our work will be tailored to your needs, goals, and where you are in life.

What you can expect from me

My clients can expect a open, empathetic and supportive environment. I allow my clients to feel comfortable in the safe space via video.
