Great to meet you!

Life can be a lot sometimes, whether it's tension with a spouse, stress with family or kids, or grieving someone you love. And guess what? That's OK. I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a Master of Social Work from Walden University, and I've been helping people through hard seasons since 2014.

I work with individuals, couples, and families dealing with depression, anxiety, trauma and PTSD, grief, relationship and marital problems, and pre- and postpartum challenges. I also have a special heart for people who were previously incarcerated, and for the spouses and families of those who are. My own life experience gave me a front-row seat to how hard things can get, and it shapes the down-to-earth, judgment-free space I create for every client.

If we're not the right fit, I'll help you find someone who is. I'm here for you.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is supportive, collaborative, and strengths-based. I believe therapy works best when you feel heard, respected, and comfortable being yourself. I meet clients where they are and tailor treatment to their individual needs, goals, and experiences. I incorporate practical strategies to help clients better understand their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors while developing healthier ways to cope with life's challenges. My focus is not only on addressing current concerns, but also on helping clients recognize their strengths, build confidence, improve relationships, and create meaningful changes that can continue outside of therapy.

What you can expect from me

Our first session is an opportunity for us to get to know one another and begin creating a plan that feels right for you. We will talk about what brought you to therapy, what you have been experiencing, and what you hope to gain from our work together. I will also ask questions about your background, relationships, strengths, and any challenges that may be affecting you. You do not have to have everything figured out before starting therapy. My goal is to create a comfortable, judgment-free environment where you can share at your own pace. By the end of the session, we will begin identifying your goals and discuss how we can work together to achieve them.
