Lana Huling

My name is Lana Huling, and I am a board-certified psychiatric nurse practitioner with over 21 years of experience in healthcare and five years practicing as a nurse practitioner. I’m based in New Orleans and offer both in-person and telehealth appointments to provide flexible, accessible care. I treat individuals across the lifespan children, adolescents, and adults and specialize in managing a range of mental health conditions including ADHD, anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, PTSD, and schizophrenia. My background includes extensive clinical experience and a strong commitment to ongoing education to stay current in the evolving field of psychiatry.

My approach to care is compassionate, collaborative, and patient-centered. I take time to understand each client’s unique needs, preferences, and goals. I believe in building a strong therapeutic relationship based on trust and open communication. I use evidence-based practices to guide diagnosis and treatment, and I tailor care plans to consider the emotional, physical, and psychological aspects of each individual.
