Great to meet you!

Overthinking. Procrastination. Mental overload. Constant anxiety. If your mind never seems to slow down, you’re not alone. ADHD isn’t just about attention, and OCD isn’t just about being organized—both can make everyday life feel harder than it should.

With over 20 years of psychiatric experience, I specialize in Adult ADHD, OCD, anxiety, and depression. I also have a special interest in women’s mental health, including PMDD and postpartum mental health concerns. My approach is compassionate, thorough, and personalized—I want you to feel comfortable talking openly, without judgment, and confident that your concerns are being taken seriously.

If you struggle with poor focus, procrastination, forgetfulness, disorganization, intrusive thoughts, constant overthinking, or feeling like you know what you need to do but just can’t get yourself to do it, we’ll work together to understand what’s behind those symptoms and develop a treatment plan that fits your needs and your life.

I provide comprehensive ADHD evaluations and personalized medication management through telehealth and in-person appointments. When clinically appropriate, medication management may begin the same day as your evaluation.

My goal is simple: to help you quiet the mental noise, improve your focus, reduce anxiety, and feel like yourself again.

My approach to therapy

My approach to care is personalized, collaborative, and focused on treating the whole person—not just a diagnosis. I take the time to understand your symptoms, your story, and how your mental health is affecting your everyday life.

Together, we’ll develop a treatment plan that fits your individual needs and goals. This may include medication management, therapeutic strategies, and lifestyle changes involving sleep, nutrition, exercise, stress management, and daily habits. I believe the best outcomes happen when you understand your treatment options and feel comfortable being an active participant in your care.

Above all, I strive to create a warm, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment where you feel heard and understood. My goal is not simply to reduce symptoms, but to help you function better, feel more confident, and improve your overall quality of life.

What you can expect from me

During our first session, whether we meet through telehealth or in person, my goal is to really get to know you—not just your symptoms, but your story and what you hope to improve.

We’ll complete a comprehensive psychiatric evaluation that explores your current concerns, mental health and medical history, family history, medications, sleep, lifestyle, stressors, and other factors that may be affecting how you feel and function. I’ll take the time to listen, answer your questions, and help you better understand what may be contributing to your symptoms.

By the end of the visit, we’ll work together to develop a personalized treatment plan based on your needs and goals. This may include medication management, therapeutic strategies, lifestyle recommendations, or a combination of approaches. When medication is clinically appropriate, we can discuss treatment options and potentially begin medication management during the initial visit.

Most importantly, I want you to leave your first session feeling heard, understood, and with a clear plan for moving forward.
