Lana Krichmar-Liverant

I have extensive experience and expertise working with clients struggling with peer relationships and/or dating issues, typical challenges of life, those experiencing anxiety, depression, suicidal ideation, crisis, among other issues. My style is compassionate and direct. My particular area of expertise is short-term crisis intervention and therapy. I work with high-risk population, and I am well versed in risk assessment and crisis intervention.

I am trained in Cognitive Behavioral and Dialectical Behavioral (CBT/DBT) therapy approaches. I easily engage my clients in a therapeutic process, and I am not afraid to explore and discuss sensitive topics. I teach clients how to make positive changes by identifying and replacing maladaptive thoughts, patterns, and behaviors.

I utilize each client's strengths to tailor treatment to their own individual needs. My goal is to provide my clients with skills they can use on their own, to help them identify what is personally meaningful to them and address barriers to life satisfaction and improved relationships, as well as individual performance, specifically as it relates to sports.
