Great to meet you!

With over 25 years of therapy experience, primarily in university counseling, I have had a diverse range of clients. As a member of the LGBTQ+ community, I like working with sexual orientation and gender issues. I am also well-versed in women's issues, depression, anxiety, personal growth, and many other areas. I am not wedded to a a rigid therapy orientation but believe in personalizing my approach to you as a whole, unique person. I enjoy giving individuals a positive, affirming experience.

A bit about my approach to therapy

The therapy relationship is everything. I aim for authenticity and being as present as possible for my clients. My style is conversational and informal. I believe being heard is the beginning of healing, and you will only feel heard if I provide the right environment. I see the Japanese art of kintsugi as a metaphor for therapy. Rather than hiding imperfections, kintsugi pays them loving attention by using gold to heal the pottery, becoming even more beautiful than when it began.
