Great to meet you!

I’m Lana Wimmer, a licensed clinical mental health therapist, and I help individuals and couples who are struggling in their relationships. I’ve earned degrees from both Brigham Young University and the University of Utah, where I focused my studies on how to create meaningful and healthy relationships. I’ve trained in Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) and the Gottman Method to offer practical tools for building healthier connections.

A bit about my approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is warm, collaborative, and rooted in creating a safe space where you can feel comfortable to open up and explore what's challenging you. I’ve trained extensively in several therapy modalities, including Lifespan Integration and AEDP so I can tailor our sessions to fit your unique needs. My goal is to help you get more clarity for your life, heal from past wounds, and build more fulfilling relationships. Together, we’ll work at your pace with a focus on creating real, lasting change.

What you can expect from our first session

You can expect to build the tools and skills necessary to manage life's challenges, communicate more effectively, and reconnect with your partner or yourself in meaningful ways. By working through past trauma and emotional blocks, you will grow in resilience and experience lasting change. Ultimately, I want all of my clients to leave sessions feeling clearer about the direction they want to take, feeling greater emotional strength, and the ability to make authentic connections in their lives.
