Great to meet you!

Seeking psychiatric care is an important step toward improving your mental health, and finding someone who listens and understands your concerns matters. I am a board-certified psychiatrist with experience treating a wide range of mental health conditions, including depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, and more complex psychiatric illnesses.

I recognize that everyone's experiences and treatment needs are different. My goal is to provide a welcoming, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment where you feel comfortable discussing your concerns. I believe in working together to develop an individualized treatment plan focused on improving symptoms, restoring stability, and helping you achieve a better quality of life.

My approach to therapy

I believe effective psychiatric treatment begins with listening and understanding each patient's individual experiences, concerns, and goals. My approach combines evidence-based medicine with compassionate, personalized care.

I focus on comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, accurate diagnosis, and thoughtful medication management when appropriate. I also consider how physical health, lifestyle, relationships, and life circumstances may influence mental well-being. My goal is to help you understand your treatment options, make informed decisions, and find a treatment plan that works best for you. I value open communication and regularly reassess treatment to ensure we are making meaningful progress toward your goals.

What you can expect from me

Your first appointment is an opportunity for us to get to know one another and better understand what brings you to treatment. We will discuss your current symptoms, medical and psychiatric history, previous treatments, and what you hope to achieve.

There is no pressure to have everything figured out before your appointment. I encourage you to ask questions, share your concerns, and discuss what has or hasn't worked for you in the past. Together, we will review potential diagnoses and treatment options, including whether medication may be helpful. You will have an active role in deciding the next steps, and my goal is for you to leave feeling heard, informed, and comfortable with our plan moving forward.
