My name is Lanette Davis and I am a graduate student at Alverno College. I have been a nurse for 17 years in hospital, nursing home and home health settings. The last 10 years have been with patients with mental health and intellectual disabilities. My goal is to promote active involvement in the treatment plan using medication management, therapy, and education is key to success. Developing therapeutic relationships with my patients through open communication, trust and collaboration.

A bit about my approach to therapy

  • As a psychiatric nurse practitioner my approach to providing care is Person centered support rooted in collaboration and a holistic understanding of your mental health. I believe in working together with my patients to create a personalized treatment plan that addresses not only symptoms but also your unique strengths, challenges, and life circumstances. Clients will be able to utilize telehealth in combination with office visits to ensure everyone's specific needs are met.

Setting realistic and attainable goals in a therapeutic relationship and environment. Clients should expect to see slow and steady progress at every visit. Patients will be empowered in their mental health journey with evidence-based therapy in addition with appropriate medications when appropriate.
