Great to meet you!

I was raised in Hawaii and am proud to say that I come from humble beginnings. My island upbringing and lifelong respect and connection to my people and the land has contributed significantly to an interest in my chosen career path as a counselor. Although lacking in financial and economic resources as a child, I was surrounded by the kind of support that made my struggles seem non-existent. This is what I wish everyone's story could be.

My approach to therapy

Along with an interest in your needs and a respect for you and what I do professionally, you will find my approach to be attuned to your needs, as well as warm and hospitable. My goal in counseling is to help you find your authentic self and discover a life of meaning and purpose. I do this with a strong belief that everyone, including you, can be happy.

What you can expect from me

My hope is for you to leave each of your sessions feeling more empowered and resolved with a sense of direction. This would be better realized through your active participation and collaborative engagement with me in therapy. We all need help and I admire you for reaching out to address whatever might be ailing you.
