Great to meet you!

Clients should know that I take this work seriously — and personally. I have been involved in community care and advocacy since 2017, and that foundation continues to shape how I show up in the therapy room.

I graduated from National Louis University in 2021 with a Master's of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, and am trained in trauma-informed care and Internal Family Systems. I also hold a certification in nutrition for mental health, because I understand that healing isn’t just emotional — it’s physical, cultural, and spiritual.

I work especially well with individuals navigating racial trauma, mood disorders, grief, anxiety, substance abuse, and identity-related stressors. I strive to create a space that feels steady, respectful, and affirming — particularly for those who have not always felt seen in traditional clinical spaces.

My approach to therapy

My work is grounded in culturally responsive, trauma-informed care that honors identity, lived experience, and resilience. I support clients navigating chronic stress, relational challenges, and the emotional impact of generational and systemic trauma. My approach is collaborative, compassionate, and grounded. I strive to create a safe, affirming environment where clients feel seen, heard, and empowered to move at their own pace. I believe healing is not one-size-fits-all and that lasting wellness emerges when mind, body, and spirit are supported together.

What you can expect from me

The first session is about connection — not pressure.

We’ll talk about what led you here and what you’ve been carrying. I’ll ask some background questions to understand your experiences, but you are always in control of what you share.

Many clients come in unsure of where to begin. That’s okay. We can start wherever feels safest.

You can expect:

  • Curiosity without judgment
  • Gentle structure
  • Collaborative goal setting
  • A steady, grounded presence
  • A sense of whether we feel like a good fit

My priority in the first session is helping you feel safe enough to continue.
