Great to meet you!

Hi, and welcome — I'm really glad you're here. I've been a licensed therapist for 8 years, and in that time I've sat with people through just about every kind of hard season: anxiety that won't let up, depression that makes everything feel heavy, the pull of substance use, anger that's costing you relationships, or a life transition that's left you unsure of who you are right now. Wherever you're starting from, you don't have to sort it out alone.

I work with adults navigating anxiety, depression, substance use disorders, anger management, relationship struggles, and the specific pressures that come with men's and women's issues. I earned both my undergraduate and graduate degrees from Troy University, and what grounds my work is a simple belief: change is possible for anyone willing to be honest with themselves — and I'll be right there alongside you for it.

My approach to therapy

There's no one-size-fits-all here — I build the work around what you're actually facing. Depending on what you need, I draw on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Person-Centered Therapy, Reality Therapy, and psychoeducation, so you walk away with real tools, not just a place to vent.

Some sessions are about understanding why a pattern keeps showing up; others are about practical steps you can take this week. We'll figure out the mix that works for you.

What stays constant is that you set the direction. I'll ask what you want to accomplish, and my job is to help you actually move toward it — at a pace that feels right and in a space where you never feel judged.

What you can expect from me

The first session is really just about getting to know each other and easing in — no pressure to share everything at once. We'll talk about what brought you in, what's been weighing on you, and what you're hoping will feel different. I believe recovery starts with being honest with ourselves about our struggles, so we'll begin there, gently.

Together we'll start setting goals — you tell me what you'd like to work toward, and I help you build a path to get there. By the end, you'll have a feel for how we work together and, I hope, leave with a little more hope than you walked in with.
