Great to meet you!

I work with teens and adults facing a variety of complex issues such as anxiety, depression, grief, transitions and social disconnection. Many of my clients feel overwhelmed or stuck, unsure how to build the life they want to live. I help clients overcome barriers and reconnect with their hopes, dreams and sense of self. I strive to create an affirming, inclusive space and welcome all clients, including those from the LGBTQ+ community.

My approach to therapy

I believe change begins with a strong therapeutic relationship. I prioritize creating an environment where clients can feel comfortable showing up as they are. We’ll identify what you want to shift, remind you of your strengths and find a way forward together. You are not your problem, and you are not broken.

I show up to each session with my authentic self, even on days you can’t. I am overall an easygoing person, and I will often use humor (if appropriate) in our sessions together. As I like to say, I don't take myself very seriously even though I take my work very seriously!

What you can expect from me

Therapy can feel intimidating, and I understand the courage it takes to be vulnerable. I’m honored to walk alongside clients in their healing journey and provide a space where growth feels safe, meaningful and something you don’t need to navigate alone.

During our first session, our primary goal is for us to get to know each other enough to see if we are a good match. We will go over what therapy is and can be, any previous therapy experience you may have and what expectations we will have from each other moving forward. I try to be approachable, supportive, and transparent — the “No Surprise Social Worker.”

Let's schedule a time to talk and see if we are a good fit for each other!
