Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with more than 20 years of experience supporting individuals and families through life transitions, emotional challenges, crisis situations, and periods of significant change. I earned both my Bachelor of Social Work and Master of Social Work degrees from Southern University at New Orleans.

My professional background includes behavioral health, crisis intervention, biopsychosocial assessment, care coordination, family support, community-based services, and telehealth. I have experience working with individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, stress, trauma, relationship and family concerns, grief and loss, adjustment difficulties, and other challenges that can affect emotional well-being and daily functioning.

My approach to therapy

My therapeutic approach is rooted in empathy, trust, empowerment, and meeting clients where they are in their healing journey.

What you can expect from me

During our first session, my priority is creating a comfortable, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where you can begin sharing what brought you to therapy. We will discuss your current concerns, relevant personal history, strengths, support system, and what you hope to accomplish through counseling.

Together, we will identify your needs and begin developing goals for treatment that feel realistic and meaningful to you. I will also explain my therapeutic approach, confidentiality, and what you can expect from future sessions.

My goal is for you to leave your first session feeling heard, respected, and with a clearer understanding of how we can work together toward positive change.
