Great to meet you!

I’m Lara, a therapist and parent who knows firsthand how easy it is to look put-together while feeling overwhelmed beneath the surface. Before becoming a therapist, I spent years in high-pressure professional settings, which shaped my understanding of stress, burnout, perfectionism, and the emotional load of constantly showing up for others. I specialize in supporting professionals, parents, and individuals healing from trauma, anxiety, and self-criticism. My work is grounded in warmth, authenticity, and deep respect for the resilience people carry, even when they feel stuck or disconnected. I’m here to offer a space where you don’t have to manage everything alone and where we can work together to help you feel more steady, seen, and supported.

My approach to therapy

My approach is collaborative, warm, and grounded in evidence-based care. I blend models like CBT, Bowen Systems Theory, Attachment Theory, and IFS to help clients understand patterns in their thoughts, emotions, and relationships. Together, we slow down, build insight, and develop tools that support clarity, emotional balance, and healthier connections. My focus is always on creating a space where clients feel safe, understood, and empowered to create meaningful change.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, you can expect a calm, welcoming space where there’s no pressure to have everything figured out. We’ll talk about what’s bringing you in, what you’re hoping for, and what feels hardest right now, at a pace that feels comfortable. My goal is to help you feel understood, supported, and grounded as we begin to map out what healing and change can look like for you. You'll leave with a clearer sense of direction and a feeling that you don’t have to navigate this alone.
