Great to meet you!

You are a perfect fit for working with me:

If abstinance-based therapies haven't worked for you and you are looking for a new approach.

If you have substance use and mental health disorders and complex trauma.

If you want a therapist with lived experience.

If your family member struggles with substance use and you want support.

If you are looking for gender-affirming care.

If you are a survivor of trauma and you are ready to take your power back.

If you would like a Queer+, Sex+, Poly+, or Kink+ therapist.

If you are pregnant or parenting while managing substance use disorder.

If you are a therapist dealing with the loss of a client.

I have the lived experience of healing from severe opioid and stimulant use disorder, anxiety, depression, and complex trauma. I know that recovery started with people that unconditionally loved me and when I learned to love myself. There is no place for shame or judgement in the work that I do. I will always treat you as the expert on your own experience.

I know that reaching out for help is an act of bravery. I am constantly amazed at the resilience of humans. I hope that you will reach out and begin the journey of learning to love yourself.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is centered in my belief that people are basically good and have what they need to thrive. My role is to work with you to determine what has taken your power away and identify ways to regain it so you can be the best version of yourself, as you define it. I am certified in a number of evidence-based therapies and we can work together to determine what is most helpful to you.

What you can expect from me

I know that therapy is all about trust and I know that is it my job to earn your trust. So we will start with getting to know each other and getting to know what makes you feel safe.
