Great to meet you!

My name is Larissa and I have been working in the field of mental health for over 10 years. I obtained my masters degree in education, which specializes in mental illness and addictions counseling. Throughout my career I have worked in various mental health settings including outpatient, inpatient, residential, medication assisted treatment, as well as within the department of corrections.

A bit about my approach to therapy

I use a blend of approaches, drawing from cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), positive psychology, narrative therapy, solution-focused therapy, mindfulness, motivational interviewing, and attachment theory.

Therapeutic approaches aside, my main goal is to create a safe place for clients, to meet them where they are, to help clients feel valued, heard, understood, and empowered.

What you can expect from our first session

My hope is that clients can leave sessions feeling a little lighter, valued, seen, empowered, and motivated to be the best version of themselves.
