Great to meet you!

Seeking therapy can feel overwhelming, and finding the right therapist is an important first step. My goal is to create a space where you feel safe, heard, and supported as we work through life's challenges together.

I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in Washington State with a bachelor's degree in Social Work from Methodist University and a master's degree in Mental Health Counseling from Seattle University. I specialize in working with adults navigating trauma, anxiety, depression, grief, self-esteem, life transitions, relationship concerns, racial stress, and the emotional impact of cancer and chronic illness.

I believe healing happens when people feel genuinely seen and accepted. Whether you're processing difficult experiences, feeling stuck, or simply wanting to better understand yourself, therapy can help you reconnect with your strengths and move toward the life you want to live.

My approach to therapy

My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and trauma-informed. I believe you are the expert on your own life, and my role is to walk alongside you by providing guidance, practical tools, and a supportive environment where growth can happen at your own pace.

I integrate evidence-based approaches including Person-Centered Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), strengths-based interventions, and culturally responsive care. Rather than using a one-size-fits-all approach, I tailor therapy to your unique needs, goals, and experiences.

Together, we'll explore patterns that may be keeping you stuck, build healthy coping strategies, strengthen emotional resilience, and work toward lasting healing, not just symptom management. My hope is that you'll leave therapy with a greater understanding of yourself, increased confidence, and practical skills you can use long after our sessions.

What you can expect from me

The first session is about getting to know you, not just the challenges that brought you to therapy, but who you are as a whole person. We'll talk about what has been happening in your life, what you're hoping will change, and what healing would look like for you.

There is no pressure to share everything during our first meeting. We'll move at a pace that feels comfortable as we begin to identify your goals and create a plan that fits your needs. My goal is for you to leave the session feeling heard, understood, and hopeful, with a clearer sense of how we can work together moving forward.
