Larry Ivery

Hello, I am Larry Ivery, Sr. and I am an LPC-MHSP, Approved Supervisor in the State of Tennessee. I have worked in the area of Christian ChildCare, ministry, relationship, anxiety, depression, trauma, anger issues as well addiction and grief counseling. I also do groups for addictions and grief. I have been involved in the counseling profession for thirty plus years but have been licensed in clinical counseling as a professional for the past nine years

My primary counseling modality is cognitive behavioral therapy. I am also trained in EMDR.

The first session is basic relationship building. I go over an informed consent, determine what the presenting problem is and assign some self-assessments to assist in determining where the client needs are at the time.
