Great to meet you!

I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 20 years of experience working directly with clients and supervising other behavioral-health professionals. I bring a calm, grounded, and steady presence to therapy, and I believe meaningful change starts with feeling safe, supported, and truly heard. I take time to get to know the people I work with — their stories, strengths, challenges, and goals — so our work together feels thoughtful and collaborative.

Much of my background involves supporting individuals in high-stress or crisis situations, which has shaped my patient, methodical approach and deep respect for how complex life can be. I’m naturally curious, approachable, and easy to talk to, and I care deeply about helping people develop a stronger sense of self, resilience, and direction in their lives.

My approach to therapy

My approach is person-centered and collaborative — I believe you are the expert in your own life, and therapy works best when we make decisions together. I draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and other evidence-based approaches to help clients better understand their thoughts, emotions, and patterns, while also building practical tools they can use in everyday life.

I work primarily with adults who are navigating stress, relationship challenges, life transitions, or feeling overwhelmed. My style is calm, curious, and grounded. I aim to create a supportive space where you can gain insight, strengthen coping skills, and move toward the kind of life and relationships you want.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, we’ll spend time getting to know one another and talk about what brings you to therapy right now. I’ll ask questions about your goals, history, and what feels most stressful or important — but there’s no pressure to share more than you’re ready for. You can expect a non-judgmental, respectful environment where you are listened to with patience and genuine interest.

By the end of the session, we’ll begin identifying your goals and discuss how we can work together in a way that feels comfortable, collaborative, and supportive.
