Lashana Hernandez

Hi! My name is LaShana, and I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 10 years of experience working with individuals from all walks of life. I have experience working through many types of life challenges including mood disorders such as anxiety, depression and bipolar, anger management, occupational stress and self-esteem issues.

I like for my clients to feel as though they are talking to a nonjudgmental friend. Feeling heard and seen in a safe and supportive environment is very important and I strive to provide that space and comfort during every session that allows you to be yourself. Consider me your biggest cheerleader already! My therapy style is very eclectic and I like to use evidenced based treatment modalities such as cognitive behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing and solution focused.

Teaching practical skills and tools to immediately apply to make life a bit better is what I strive to do. I believe that life can be challenging at times, but we must be accepting of those challenges, choosing to keep moving forward and savoring the journey. I'm here to help you along that journey.
