Great to meet you!

Lasharra Jenkins is a mental health therapist who believes healing starts with honesty—being able to say what you feel and allow it to exist without judgment. Many of the clients she works with aren’t broken; they’re disconnected from themselves after years of carrying responsibility, grief, trauma, or expectations that were never theirs to hold.

Lasharra offers a space that is grounded, warm, and direct. Her work centers on helping clients slow down, notice what’s happening internally, and build the capacity to feel their emotions rather than avoid them. Through this process, clients learn how to set boundaries, trust themselves, and respond to life with intention instead of survival mode.

She believes healing isn’t about fixing who you are—it’s about learning how to feel what’s already there and move forward anyway.

My approach to therapy

Therapy with Lasharra is collaborative, intentional, and human. Sessions focus on building insight, emotional regulation, and self-trust while honoring each client’s pace. She integrates evidence-based practices with a relational approach, helping clients reconnect with themselves and move forward with clarity and confidence.

Above all, Lasharra believes therapy should feel like a place where you can exhale—where you don’t have to perform, explain away your pain, or have it all figured out.

What you can expect from me

A Conversation About You

We’ll spend time learning about your story, your current challenges, and what you hope to gain from therapy. This may include discussing your emotions, relationships, stressors, past experiences, and the things you’ve been carrying quietly.

Understanding What You Need

Together, we’ll explore what support looks like for you. Whether you’re navigating anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, burnout, relationship concerns, life transitions, or feeling overwhelmed, we’ll identify areas where therapy can help.

Creating Your Therapy Goals

Therapy is not a one-size-fits-all process. We’ll collaborate to identify goals that feel meaningful and realistic for your life. You don’t have to know exactly what you need before starting—we’ll discover that together.

Learning How We’ll Work Together

I’ll share my approach to therapy, answer questions, and discuss what you can expect moving forward. Therapy works best when there is trust, honesty, and a sense of partnership.
