Lashay Dupree

Hello! I am LaShay Dupree, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Texas with over 20 years of experience. I graduated from the University of Houston in 2000 with a Bachelor’s in Psychology and received my Master’s degree in Social Work in 2017 from the University of New England. I have worked with varying populations including seniors, veterans, at-risk youth, teen moms, DV victims, school and workplace bullying and individuals with chronic health conditions as well as substance dependency.

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, I implementa holistic approach to treatment acknowledging there are more factors impacting our mental health than just a diagnosis. I come prepared to treat the whole person not just the presenting treatment diagnosis. You are the expert of your mental and physical health and you are totally in charge of how we approach treatment. My training affords me an opportunity to utilize a multitude of treatment models and tools to help you along this journey.

In a collaborative effort, we will establish a treatment plan to your specification and approach each goal according to your self-guided timeframe. Yes, some sessions will be tougher than others, but you are the expert of your own healing. I simply here to support you on this journey to mental well-being. During the process we will make some difficult decisions, execute some changes, and may shed a few tears, but ultimately we will reach our goal together with grace. You can do this!
