Great to meet you!

Maybe you're carrying a sadness that doesn't lift, no matter how much you tell yourself it should. You might be grieving someone or something you've lost, working through a relationship that feels stuck or unsafe, or still affected by something difficult that happened to you, even years later. Family expectations or cultural pressure might make it harder to talk about any of this openly. I work with people navigating exactly these experiences, and I believe you deserve a space where none of it has to be explained or defended, it just gets to be understood.

My approach to therapy

My approach is collaborative and grounded in where you actually are right now, not where you think you should be. We'll work through the patterns behind your depression, grief, or relationship struggles, and when trauma is part of your story, we'll move through it at a pace that feels safe rather than rushing toward resolution. I pay attention to the role your family and cultural background play in how you see yourself and relate to others, because that context matters. Together we'll build practical ways to cope and reconnect with what already feels steady in your life.

What you can expect from me

You don't need to arrive with the right words or a clear explanation of what's wrong. We'll start with what's been weighing on you lately, whether that's grief, a relationship that's hard to navigate, or something from your past that still shows up in the present. I'll ask questions to understand your experience and what you're hoping changes. There's no pressure to share more than you're ready for. By the end of our first session, you'll have a clearer sense of where we can begin together.
