Great to meet you!

As a therapist, educator, and lifelong learner, I believe healing happens when people are given a safe space to feel heard, valued, and empowered. My experience as a college professor has allowed me to walk alongside individuals from diverse backgrounds, helping them navigate challenges, discover their strengths, and grow both personally and professionally.

I have a heart for helping individuals and families work through life’s difficult seasons, including anxiety, depression, grief, relationship concerns, stress, self-worth struggles, and major life transitions. For clients who desire it, I am also honored to incorporate faith and spiritual values into the counseling process, recognizing the important role that faith can play in healing, hope, and resilience.

My goal is to provide a compassionate and welcoming environment where you can show up exactly as you are and leave each session feeling encouraged, supported, and equipped with tools to move forward.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is rooted in compassion, authenticity, and collaboration. I believe every person carries a unique story, and I take time to understand your experiences, values, and goals before creating a path forward together.

For those who wish to include their faith journey as part of therapy, I offer a respectful space where spiritual beliefs can be explored as a source of strength and guidance.

What you can expect from me

I combine evidence-based therapeutic approaches with practical strategies that help clients manage everyday challenges, strengthen relationships, improve emotional wellness, and build confidence. Your first session is a time for us to begin building a relationship and understanding what has brought you to therapy. You can expect a warm conversation where you have the opportunity to share your story, discuss your concerns, and identify what you hope to achieve.
