Therapist that understands that asking for help can be difficult & taking that first step takes a great deal of courage.
My approach to therapy is holistic, strengths-based, and collaborative, ensuring that we work together to uncover your strengths and build on them. I particularly enjoy working with teens and helping them navigate the complexities of adolescence. My experience includes addressing acute behavioral challenges, adjustment and attachment issues, loss, grief, relationship difficulties, and the transition to parenthood, college, or career. I believe in Jesus Christ and God almighty and believe strongly in the power of faith and spirituality in the healing process. I am committed to helping you discover how to heal, grow, and thrive after challenging or traumatic experiences.
Questions are asked to learn about the presenting problems, mental health history, life experiences, and support systems. Help identifying what you hope to achieve in therapy and working together to establish clear, achievable goals. Also, ample time is allotted for you to ask questions about the process, confidentiality, or my therapeutic approach.
