Great to meet you!

My name is Latarsia Renee Williams, but feel free to call me Tarsia (pronounced like Tasha). I’m a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in Florida and a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Alabama, and I have been working with clients since 2016. My professional background includes supporting individuals, couples, families, and groups across a range of settings such as youth programs, detention facilities, group therapy environments, and private practice. I earned my Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling in 2018 and became fully licensed in 2024.

I currently provide telehealth services to adults across Florida. I specialize in helping clients navigate trauma, grief, emotional regulation, low self-worth, mood and attention challenges, and relationship concerns. I also offer Christian counseling for those seeking to integrate their faith into the therapeutic process.

My approach to therapy

I take a collaborative, compassionate, and client-centered approach to therapy. My work blends evidence-based methods—such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), mindfulness practices, trauma-informed care, and polyvagal theory. I focus on building a strong therapeutic relationship while helping clients explore values, challenge unhelpful thought patterns, strengthen coping skills, and improve communication and boundaries.

I also offer faith-based, Christian counseling for those who would like spiritual integration. Whether you're navigating difficult emotions or life transitions, my goal is to provide a supportive, affirming space to promote healing, clarity, and personal growth.

What you can expect from me

Clients can expect to leave sessions feeling heard, supported, and equipped with practical tools they can apply in everyday life. Together, we’ll work to uncover the root of challenges, reframe unhelpful thoughts, and build skills for emotional regulation, communication, and self-care. I aim to create a space where clients feel safe to be themselves—free of judgment—and empowered to grow at their own pace.

Whether we’re exploring your values, learning to set boundaries, or healing from past experiences, you can expect a collaborative process that respects your unique journey. For those seeking it, you’ll also find space for faith-based reflection and Christian principles woven into the therapeutic work.
