Great to meet you!
I believe therapy works best when you don’t have to perform, have the “right” words, or leave parts of yourself at the door. As a Black, queer, neurodivergent therapist, I understand that who we are shapes how we experience the world, our relationships, and even ourselves. That perspective makes authenticity and alignment central to my work which helps you understand yourself beneath the expectations, survival patterns, and versions of yourself you learned to become.
I show up warm, curious, honest, and human. We’ll make room for the hard stuff, yet I also want to know you beyond your symptoms and trauma. Therapy will carry enough heaviness on its own. There can be laughter here, personality, celebration, curiosity, and moments when we simply get to appreciate who you are.
Much of my work is helping people meet themselves with more curiosity and less criticism. Anxiety, overthinking, people-pleasing, shutting down, or struggling to trust yourself can make more sense when we understand what you’ve lived through and what your mind and body learned to do to protect you. We can honor what helped you survive while being honest about what may no longer fit the life, relationships, and version of yourself you desire.
I’m super committed to Black wellness and understand the exhaustion of entering a healing space only to find yourself explaining your culture, relationships, or way of moving through the world. My practice also affirms LGBTQIA+, Kink/BDSM, and consensually non-monogamous communities. You don’t have to fit neatly into a box here.
I’m not here to fix you or hand you a better version of yourself. I’m here to walk alongside you with compassion, accountability, humor, and some truth-telling as you learn to hear yourself more clearly, trust yourself more deeply, and create a life that feels more like your own.
