Great to meet you!

Whew! You made it! I know it took a lot for you to get to the point of reaching out for help! I am proud of you for showing up for yourself! Next step, choosing your therapist. It may not be me and that is ok. It is YOUR preferences and needs that are important here. So let me tell you a little about me.

I'm a native of Cleveland, Ohio and currently residing in Columbus, Ohio.I have been active in the Social Service genre in some capacity since 1998. I am a graduate of Baldwin-Wallace College majoring in Psychology with minors in English and Child & Family Studies. A seminary graduate of Ashland Theological Seminary graduating with a Masters of Divinity and a Masters of Practical Theology with an emphasis on Christian Counseling. Sidebar: no, that does not mean that I will force Christianity on you but it is an option for those who want to include their Christian beliefs with Clinical Therapy. On the flip side this, I also specialize in Spiritual Abuse & Religious Trauma. I also completed my Master's in Clinical Counseling from Liberty University. I am certified in Mental Health First Aid. I obtained my License Professional Counselor credential from the State Board of Ohio in 2018 an my Licensed Clinical Counselor license in 2026.

A sound mind, balanced emotions, with total wholeness are my main goals of when working with others to become their best selves.

I believe in custom made, interactive & practical approaches to counseling, I am totally against cookie cutter therapy Just because you may have the same diagnosis as another, it does not mean you should have the exact same treatment You are an individual and should be treated as such.

Are you a Creative? Then we I'll use your gift to help you heal! Singing, dancing, writing, art, make-up artist, cosmetologist, poetry...we will use that! Your gifting is an important and inseparable part of you. Ready? Let's work.

I believe in custom made, interactive & practical approaches to counseling, I am totally against cookie cutter therapy Just because you may have the same diagnosis as another, it does not mean you should have the exact same treatment You are an individual and should be treated as such. I am trauma informed and trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness, Motivational Interviewing, and DBT. I also utilize Narrative Therapy and Bibliotherapy.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, you will more than likely experience some laughs, nervousness, and a sense of relief. Your first session is usually anxiety-filled because we don't know each other yet. That's perfectly fine and to be expected. My job is to meet you where you are and come alongside you throughout your journey to wholeness. No pressure. No judgment.
