Latelma Turner, LCSW-S, ACM-SW is the founder of Miles Ahead Counseling Services, PLLC and a licensed clinical social worker with over 12 years of experience. As both a therapist and a mother, she understands how the journey through pregnancy, postpartum, and motherhood can be filled with both joy and uncertainty. She has experienced the emotional ups and downs that come with adjusting to a new normal and knows how important it is to have someone who listens and truly understands. Latelma uses her professional and personal experiences to work with women navigating through the transitions of pregnancy, postpartum, and motherhood with compassion and confidence.

Latelma utilizes a person-centered and strengths-based approach to therapy that is grounded in evidenced based methods. This allows her to meet with client where she is and identify appropriate goals.
