Great to meet you!
I believe that helping people is my passion. Since I was a child I've always known I was going to be in the helping field. I have over 10 years of experience from a variety of backgrounds and experiences, including working with individuals on the Autism Spectrum, those experiencing mental health crises, and everything in between.
I received my Bachelor's degree from Radford University and my master's degree from Walden University. I became a Licensed Professional Counselor because I wanted to be the therapist I wish I had seen more of growing up. When I was younger, I didn't see many therapists who looked like me, and that experience helped shape my desire to make mental health care feel more welcoming and accessible.
I am especially passionate about bringing awareness to mental health within Black and Brown communities, where mental health can sometimes be viewed as taboo or difficult to talk about. I want to help normalize conversations about mental health and create a space where you feel comfortable being open, heard, and understood without judgement.
