Great to meet you!

I believe that healing happens within the context of a safe, supportive relationship. My goal is to create a space where you feel heard, respected, and empowered to explore your experiences without fear of judgment. I understand that beginning therapy can feel vulnerable, and I consider it a privilege to walk alongside clients as they pursue healing and personal growth.

I am a licensed therapist in both Florida and California with over seven years of experience working with adults. I am EMDR trained and use an attachment-based, trauma-informed approach that integrates evidence-based practices, including EMDR, parts work, somatic techniques, and psychoeducation. My work focuses on helping individuals heal from trauma, attachment wounds, anxiety, and grief and loss while developing healthier relationships, greater emotional resilience, and lasting change.

As a Christian counselor, I also enjoy integrating faith into the therapeutic process for clients who desire it, while honoring each person's unique values and beliefs. I primarily work with adults who are navigating the effects of trauma, difficult life experiences, anxiety, grief, and relational challenges. Whether you are feeling overwhelmed, emotionally exhausted, or stuck in patterns that no longer serve you, I am committed to providing compassionate, collaborative care that supports your journey toward healing and hope.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is collaborative, compassionate, and trauma-informed. I believe healing begins within the safety of a trusting therapeutic relationship, where clients feel seen, heard, and supported as they explore their experiences. My goal is to help clients better understand themselves, process difficult life experiences, and develop practical tools that promote lasting emotional well-being.

I primarily use an attachment-based approach, recognizing how early relationships and life experiences shape our emotions, beliefs, and relationships today. I integrate evidence-based interventions, including EMDR, parts work, somatic techniques, and psychoeducation, to help clients process trauma, regulate their nervous system, and build healthier patterns of thinking, feeling, and relating to others.

I view therapy as a partnership. Together, we identify meaningful goals, celebrate progress, and work through challenges at a pace that feels safe and manageable. For clients who desire it, I also thoughtfully integrate Christian faith into the therapeutic process, providing care that honors both their emotional and spiritual well-being. My hope is that each client leaves therapy with greater self-awareness, resilience, and confidence to move forward with hope and healing.

What you can expect from me

During our first session, you can expect a welcoming, supportive, and judgment-free environment where we begin getting to know one another. We will discuss what brought you to therapy, your current concerns, relevant life experiences, and what you hope to gain from the counseling process.

My goal is to understand your unique story while helping you feel comfortable and heard.

The first session is also an opportunity for us to begin building a trusting therapeutic relationship. I will ask questions to better understand your emotional, relational, and personal history, while also identifying your strengths and the challenges you are facing. Together, we will begin developing goals that reflect what is most important to you.

You do not need to have everything figured out before coming to therapy. We will move at a pace that feels safe and appropriate for you. By the end of our first session, you can expect to have a clearer understanding of my approach, what our work together may look like, and the next steps on your journey toward healing and growth.
