Great to meet you!

I'm Latonia!

We all experience life challenges that can leave us feeling overwhelmed and unsure how to move forward. You're not alone. I help clients navigate trauma, anxiety, relationship issues, and life changes with hope and compassion. My goal is to help you feel more grounded, confident, and connected to yourself and the life you want to create.

My journey into therapy began with a curiosity about trauma and human resilience that resulted in a passion to help others find strength through life's challenges. Working with trauma survivors showed me the power of therapy in healing. I am driven by the belief that everyone has the capacity for growth, healing, and lasting change.

My approach to therapy

I use Prolonged Exposure (PE), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Schema Therapy (ST) to help you identify and reframe negative thoughts. My approach is collaborative and solution-focused, giving you tools to feel more in control. I may also incorporate mindfulness or other evidence-based techniques to support your unique goals and progress.

What you can expect from me

I see therapy as a partnership. Together, we'll develop goals that matter to you, whether that's improving relationships, processing trauma, managing depressive or anxiety symptoms, or pursuing personal growth. As you gain new insights, we'll adapt your plan to stay meaningful as you move toward creating the life you want.

Your first session is a chance for us to get to know each other and discuss what brings you to therapy. It’s normal to feel nervous—therapy is a process we’ll build together over time. We’ll move at your pace, one step at a time, and I’ll be here to guide you throughout.
