Great to meet you!

I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor with experience helping adults navigate anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, relationship concerns, life transitions, stress, and challenges with self-esteem. I also have experience supporting individuals affected by substance use and recovery. My goal is to create a space where you can feel comfortable being yourself, better understand what may be contributing to the challenges you’re facing, and develop practical tools to help you move forward.

I bring a compassionate, trauma-informed approach that considers the whole person and recognizes that meaningful change looks different for everyone. Together, we’ll build on your strengths while working toward greater confidence, healthier patterns, and a stronger sense of balance in your life. For clients who would like faith to be part of therapy, I’m also comfortable incorporating spirituality and faith into our work in a way that feels meaningful to you.

My approach to therapy

My approach is warm, collaborative, and tailored to your individual needs. I believe therapy should give you the opportunity to better understand yourself while also helping you make meaningful changes in your everyday life. We’ll explore the thoughts, emotions, experiences, and patterns that may be keeping you stuck, identify your strengths, and develop practical ways to manage challenges and move toward your goals.

I draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing, Solution-Focused Therapy, and trauma-informed approaches based on what will be most helpful for you. I’ll support you with compassion while also gently challenging you when it can help you grow, look beneath the surface, and create healthier patterns that last beyond therapy.

What you can expect from me

Our first session is an opportunity for us to get to know one another and understand what brings you to therapy. We’ll talk about what you’ve been experiencing, what feels most important right now, and what you hope to gain from our work together. You don’t need to have everything figured out or know exactly where to begin.

You can expect a welcoming, judgment-free environment where you can speak openly and feel heard. I’ll listen, ask thoughtful questions, and work alongside you to create a plan that reflects your needs and goals. My hope is that over time you’ll feel more confident navigating difficult emotions and experiences, better equipped with practical coping skills, and empowered to create meaningful change in your life.
