Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor with nearly 30 years of experience in social services and a passion for helping individuals achieve emotional wellness and personal growth. I hold a Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling and a Doctorate in Biblical Studies, allowing me to integrate faith-based principles into therapy when desired. I specialize in anxiety, depression, trauma, life transitions, and relationship concerns. My goal is to provide a compassionate, supportive space where clients feel heard, understood, and empowered to create meaningful change.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is compassionate, collaborative, and down-to-earth. I believe in creating a safe, nonjudgmental space where clients can be themselves and feel genuinely heard and understood. I am relatable and authentic in my approach, while also helping clients challenge unhealthy patterns, develop practical coping skills, and create meaningful change. When desired, I also incorporate faith and spirituality as part of the healing process.

What you can expect from me

During your first session, you can expect a warm, welcoming, and judgment-free space where you can simply be yourself. We’ll take time to discuss what brought you to therapy, explore your concerns, and identify what you hope to gain from the process. Together, we’ll begin developing realistic goals that support your emotional well-being and personal growth. My goal is for you to leave feeling heard, supported, and hopeful about the journey ahead.
