Dr. LaTonya Shaw

Greetings, my name is Dr. LaTonya Shaw, I am the CEO of M.I.N.D Therapeutic Services, I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and Clinical Healthcare Administrator with over 15 years of experience guiding individuals, couples, and families toward healing and personal growth. I hold a Master’s degree in Psychology from Palm Beach Atlantic University, where I focused on Mental Health Counseling, Substance Abuse Counseling, Child Psychology, and Marriage and Family Therapy. I earned my Doctoral degree in Clinical Healthcare Administration from the University of Lynchburg.

I was born and raised in Southeastern Florida by my strict and loving maternal grandmother. I am the eldest of my siblings and proudly embrace my Native American, South American, and African American heritage. I am a devoted mother of three adult children, a Godmother to five, two grandpups, finding joy in family, travel, escape rooms, coloring, and sipping hot tea.

I am a passionate advocate for mental wellness, helping individuals holistically. I specialize in a wide range of therapeutic modalities, including serving those with ASD and AuDHD. I help individuals navigate with CBT, DBT, Behavior Modification, Anger Management, Solution-Focused Therapy, Trauma-Focused Therapy, Couples Therapy, Christian Therapy, Art Therapy, Play Therapy, Communication Skills Building, and EMDR.

My approach to therapy is collaborative, compassionate, and empowering. I walk alongside each client, helping them develop skills, uncover new dimensions of themselves, and reach their desired destinations.
