Great to meet you!

I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor who believes you don’t have to be falling apart for therapy to make sense. I work with adolescents and adults navigating ADHD, anxiety, depression, trauma, stress, relationships, grief, identity, and major life transitions. I’ve spent my career as both a therapist and mental health leader, and I bring that experience into the room with warmth, curiosity, humor, and practical support. You don’t have to have the perfect words or know exactly what’s wrong—we can figure that out together.

My approach to therapy

My approach is warm, practical, collaborative, and trauma-informed. I draw from CBT, person-centered therapy, psychoeducation, and other evidence-based strategies based on what you need. We’ll look at what’s happening, why certain patterns keep showing up, and what you can actually do differently. I believe insight matters, but so does knowing what to do on Tuesday. Expect compassion, honest feedback, a little humor when appropriate, and strategies you can use outside of therapy.

What you can expect from me

Our first session is a conversation, not a test. I’ll want to understand what brought you to therapy, what life looks like right now, what you’ve already tried, and what you’d like to be different. You’ll also have space to ask questions and get a feel for how I work. You don’t need to arrive with your story perfectly organized—I’ll help guide the conversation. By the end, we’ll begin identifying what we want to work on and what our next steps might look like.
