Great to meet you!

I earned both my undergraduate and graduate degrees in Social Work from the University of Central Florida. I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Social Work from the University of Central Florida in 2011 and completed the Advanced Standing Master of Social Work program at UCF in 2014. Since then, I have gained extensive experience in the clinical field, beginning as a targeted case manager supporting individuals with severe and persistent mental illness. I later worked as a therapist serving both children and adults, as well as in the school setting as a school social worker.

My approach to therapy

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, I take a collaborative, compassionate, and strengths-based approach to therapy, creating a safe and supportive space where clients feel heard, validated, and empowered to explore life's challenges. I believe therapy should be tailored to each individual's unique needs, goals, and experiences. My focus is on helping clients manage anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, stress, relationship and family concerns, and life transitions by building self-awareness, strengthening coping skills, and fostering resilience. I integrate evidence-based approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Narrative Therapy, Strength-Based Therapy, and Positive Psychology to help clients better understand their experiences, develop healthier patterns of thinking and behavior, and build upon the strengths they already possess. Together, we will identify practical tools that support meaningful, lasting change while promoting healing, personal growth, and confidence in navigating life's challenges.

What you can expect from me

You can expect a warm, welcoming, and nonjudgmental environment where you feel heard, validated, and supported every step of the way. I strive to create a safe space where you can openly share your thoughts and experiences, explore challenges at your own pace, and celebrate your progress along the journey. My goal is to provide compassionate support, practical guidance, and evidence-based interventions that empower you to better understand yourself, build on your strengths, and navigate life's challenges with greater confidence, resilience, and hope. Together, we will work collaboratively toward meaningful, lasting change that aligns with your unique goals and values.
