Hello! My name is LaToya. I have over 13 years of counseling, mentoring and leadership in diverse settings. I have had the opportunity to work with adolescents in the educational sector as well as adult and families in the private sector.
I believe with the proper tools, support and knowledge everyone can make strides in their journey to improve their life and well-being. I use a variety of evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Person-Centered Therapy and Solution Focused approaches to help my clients discover new ways of coping.
My goal is to create a safe and comfortable space for clients to feel heard, open to sharing their thoughts, and feel empowered to reach their therapeutic goals.
