Great to meet you!

I have over 10 years of experience in the world of mental health working with children, teens, and adults. My background is based in community mental health where I had the opportunity to work with people of all walks of life facing a myriad of family, interpersonal, and environmental challenges. I chose this route because while growing up in the inner city surrounded by despair, I made it my life’s mission to 1. make it out 2. to give back and 3. focus on changing the status quo.

My approach to therapy

My therapeutic approach is genuine, warm, and client-centered to address your specific needs. My knowledge and skill set is based on my love for working with adults and especially individuals with a history of interaction with the criminal justice system. After obtaining my master’s degree from USC in 2015, my focus became locked on healing trauma. As such, I primarily utilize EMDR, some CBT, and I incorporate healing inner child work and somatic parts work to deepen your healing experience.

What you can expect from me

It’s my personal belief that everyone experiences setbacks and needs a helping hand from time to time. Upon our time together we'll focus on the obstacles you're facing, establish some goals, and you'll learn some helpful tools and skills along the way. Most of all, you'll have my support and guidance every step of the way in order to assist you with moving towards a path to peace.
