Great to meet you!

I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor with more than 20 years of experience helping adults work through anxiety, stress, burnout, life transitions, relationship challenges, grief, and identity concerns. I hold a PhD in Counseling & Psychological Studies and am licensed in Missouri and Texas.

I work especially well with adults who are used to being strong for others but feel overwhelmed, emotionally drained, or stuck in patterns they are ready to change. I offer a warm, grounded space for healing, insight, and growth. I also welcome clients who want to include faith in therapy, as well as those who are spiritually curious and seeking support without judgment.

My approach to therapy

My approach is warm, collaborative, and insight-driven. I help clients understand patterns that keep them stuck, process what they are carrying, and build healthier ways of coping, relating, and moving forward.

I use evidence-based therapy with a whole-person lens, which means I pay attention to emotional, relational, and, when desired, spiritual concerns. Therapy with me is thoughtful and practical. You will have space to reflect, but also support in making real changes in your daily life.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is a chance for us to begin understanding what brought you to therapy and what support you need right now. We will talk about what has been weighing on you, what patterns you may be noticing, and what you hope will feel different through this process.

You do not need to have everything figured out before you start. My goal is to help you feel comfortable, heard, and clear about the next steps. Many clients leave the first session feeling relieved, more grounded, and less alone.
