Latrivia Guinn is a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner who has been a nurse since 2012 and earned her Post-Master’s PMHNP certification from National University in 2021. She has experience working in outpatient clinics and federally qualified health centers (FQHCs), where she has supported individuals and families across a wide range of mental health needs.
Latrivia treats conditions including depression, anxiety, ADHD, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, OCD, and other mood and behavioral concerns. She has a special passion for working with youth experiencing mood disorders and incorporates behavior management strategies within the family system to promote long-term stability and growth.
Known for her ability to build strong rapport, Latrivia creates a safe and comfortable space where patients feel heard and understood. She recognizes that conversations about mental health are not always easy and prioritizes individualized, compassionate care.
Latrivia views medication as one helpful tool in managing symptoms and works collaboratively with her patients to address internal factors alongside medication management.
