Great to meet you!

I believe you already possess a natural wisdom and an inherent ability to heal. However, life’s challenges can sometimes make it difficult to connect with those inner resources. In our work together, the focus first will be on building a strong therapeutic relationship in a safe, respectful, collaborative environment.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is holistic, strengths-based, and personal-centered. I blend traditional talk therapies with creative techniques to match your specific needs. I primarily utilize:

Expressive Arts Therapy- I have extensive training and experience using art, movement, and creative expression across all age groups. This powerful tool fosters self-discovery, helps resolve inner conflict, and assists heavily with processing trauma and grief.

Narrative Therapy- Helping yo explore, untangle, and reframe the stories you tell about your life and experiences.

Strengths-Based Support- Focusing on your existing resilience and capabilities to help you navigate current hardships and improve your overall quality of life.

What you can expect from me

In your first session you can expect a gentle low pressure introduction focused on building comfort and connection. We will focus first on building a safe relationship and ensuring my approach feels like a good fit for you.

We will discuss what brings you to therapy, explore creative tools if incorporating expressive arts sounds helpful to you, and we will have plenty of time for you to ask questions.
