Great to meet you!

I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor with a Master’s in Counseling Psychology from the University of Denver and a background in intensive outpatient treatment for substance use and trauma. I often work with people who want to better understand themselves and the patterns that may be keeping them stuck, whether that shows up as anxiety, difficulty trusting themselves, challenges in close relationships, or questioning the role alcohol or other substances are playing in their life. Therapy with me is not about telling you what you should do; it’s about helping you understand yourself more clearly, feel more grounded in what matters to you, and build the confidence to make changes that feel meaningful and sustainable.

My approach to therapy

Therapy is a space to slow down, get curious about what’s happening beneath the surface, and begin making sense of patterns that may no longer be serving you. Together, we’ll look at how past experiences may be shaping the way you see yourself, relate to others, and respond to challenges today. As we build insight, we’ll also focus on what it looks like to put that understanding into practice, whether that means trusting yourself more, communicating what you need, setting boundaries, or learning new ways to navigate difficult emotions. My hope is that over time, you feel increasingly confident in your ability to make choices that feel right for you and create meaningful change in your life.

What you can expect from me

Our first session is really about understanding what’s bringing you to therapy. We’ll talk about what’s been feeling difficult, what you hope might change, and what would make therapy feel useful to you. You don’t need to come in with everything figured out, I’ll help guide the conversation, and we’ll begin identifying the areas you’d like to focus on together. My goal is for you to leave the first session feeling heard, more grounded, and with a clearer sense of what our work together could look like.
