Great to meet you!

Maybe you're carrying more than you let on, and you're tired of holding it together on your own. I believe therapy should feel genuine, collaborative, and human. I work with women, emerging adults, and LGBTQIA+ folks navigating identity, relationships, ADHD, life transitions, grief and loss, and end of life concerns. I also love working with performers, singers, actors, nurses, and physicians, people who give a lot of themselves and rarely get a space that's just theirs. With me, you can expect warmth, humor, curiosity, and plenty of room to simply be yourself.

My approach to therapy

My work draws from CBT, ACT, DBT, client-centered, and expressive approaches, and I tailor things to you rather than following a script. If you want practical tools for anxiety or overwhelm, we can build those. If you need to make sense of something painful first, we'll start there. Having spent years in hospitals and day treatment programs, I know how confusing the mental health system can be, and I'm glad to help you find your way through it.

What you can expect from me

The first session is mostly getting to know each other. I'll ask some questions to understand what brought you here and what your life looks like right now, and you're welcome to ask me anything too. Toward the end we'll talk about what you're hoping for and sketch out some goals together. You don't need to arrive prepared or have the words figured out. Showing up is enough.
