Great to meet you!
I’m Laura Besada, a Board-Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with more than 15 years of experience caring for people in different stages and seasons of life.
I believe that seeking help is an act of courage, and I want my patients to feel that they have found a place where they can be themselves without judgment. My approach is warm, compassionate, and collaborative. I take the time to truly listen and understand what you are going through—not just your symptoms, but your experiences, your concerns, and what matters most to you.
I provide psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and ongoing mental health care for concerns including anxiety, depression, ADHD, mood disorders, trauma-related symptoms, and other behavioral health needs. My goal is not simply to treat a diagnosis, but to understand the whole person and create a treatment plan that feels realistic and right for you.
I know that everyone's journey is different. Sometimes you may simply need someone to listen. Other times, you may need guidance, medication support, or help finding your way through a difficult season. Wherever you are in that journey, I will meet you there.
My hope is that when you leave our sessions, you feel heard, respected, and a little more hopeful than when you arrived. Healing does not have to happen all at once—we can take it one step at a time, together.
