I have a Masters in Social Work from the State University of New York at Albany. I have experience working with children, adolescents and adults in both inpatient and community mental health clinics. I have worked closely with people with developmental disabilities as well. I currently work with adults who are looking to integrate back into the community from incarceration with a focus on maintaining safety and stability.
I primarily utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing and Solution-Focused Therapy to help clients make the changes they so wish to make in their lives.
I work closely with my clients as they process their emotions and learn healthy ways to cope in order to make the best choice for themselves moving forward.
I am currently only seeing clients through telehealth however plan to schedule in-person sessions in the near future.
When we are looking to make changes in our lives, it can be tough determining where to start. I support my clients in exploring the problems that led them to seek help. We discuss both short-term and long-term goals as well as how we can break them down into smaller, more attainable steps.
