Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who has been helping children, teenagers, and adults for over 25 years. My primary areas of specialization are anxiety, depression, trauma, grief and loss, self-esteem and coping, and ADHD. I believe we all are doing the best we can with the resources we have available. I provide an open, supportive, non-judgmental environment for you to be your authentic self.

My approach to therapy

I believe we all are individuals and I focus on your strengths to build upon these in treatment. I enjoy working with children, teens, young adults, and older adults. I have many approaches I utilize in therapy, including Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing, Person-Centered therapy, and Strength-Based interventions. I also approach therapy through a trauma-informed lens.

What you can expect from me

Our first session will be relaxed and focused on getting to know each other in the therapeutic setting. It is important that you are comfortable with me as a therapist, and building this rapport will be one of the primary focuses of the first session, as well as gathering information from your perspective as to why you are seeking therapy services.
